2019 Fall Field Trips

 

A Day of Learning and Fun!

Part of Our Mission at Autumn Moon Family Farm is to Combine Education and Fun!

The cost of a field trip is $6/student.

Pre-K – 3rd grade: 1 teacher or chaperone for every 8 students is required and they receive free admission.

4th grade and older: 1 teacher or chaperone for every 10 students is required and they receive free admission.

* There may be some exceptions for some students – Please discuss with staff while making reservations.

Additional Parents/Adult chaperones or volunteers are $6/person for Limited Admission. *Limited Admission Does Not include the jumping pillow, super slide or pedal karts! If adults wish to do these things they must pay the $11/person for General Admission.

 Field Trips are available on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 9 am to 3 pm and only on days when school is in session. 

A Field Trip Only Lasts for 3 Hours!

A classroom field trip is for ages 3 – 13 (preschool through 6th grade) enrolled in a public school, private school, preschool or child daycare. At least 15 paying admissions are required. Teachers must accompany the class.

Parent/Adult chaperones or volunteers must pay separately for themselves and any siblings on the day of the field trip at the admission stand.

Siblings of your student may attend the field trip if they have your permission. If they are age 3 and older they must pay at the admission stand with an adult if you prefer not to include them in your count. Siblings age 3 and up are $6/person. Ages 2 and under are free.

Field Trips Include:

One trip through the kiddie corn maze, jumping pillow, pedal karts, giant sling shots, *super slide (new 2019), barrel train (one trip only for grades pre-K thru 4th grade/ older students may walk this Halloween themed trail ), corn pit, wiggle cars, tether-ball, sand tables, corn hole, straw jump, rope swing, giant round swings and our *pirate themed trail.

Short Educational Lesson on Bees and Pumpkins.

 

Recommendations:

  • We suggest the entire 3 hours to enjoy all the activities.
  • Wear old clothing and tennis shoes.
  • Bring at least 2 water bottles for each student.
  • We recommend breaking the kids up into several groups and spending a certain amount of time in each area.
Lunch:

Make the day extra special, bring a sack lunch and enjoy a relaxing picnic at the farm! We have lots of picnic tables!

Looking for something for the older students? Why not book a bonfire and let them roast their own hotdogs and smores. Bonfires are available for an additional $10. We will provide the firewood, serving table, roasting sticks and even start the fire. All you need to do is bring the food. *Electricity is not available at bonfire sites.
